Three-Tier label
A single honest verdict on whether you can drive with it. The answer to "is it legal to use on a road?" is the first thing you should ask — most listings dodge it.
Road-illumination approval (R149 / R112)
The certificate that proves the beam shape, intensity and dazzle limits are safe for other road users — i.e. legal to USE while driving on a public road.
EMC approval (R10)
Proves the light will not jam your vehicle's CAN bus, sensors, radios. A precondition for lawful sale in Australia, but says nothing about on-road use.
Warning-lamp approval (R65)
Required if the lamp doubles as a certified amber warning function (workshop, recovery, escort use).
Certified intensity class
The specific certified beam class on the photometric certificate. Higher classes punch further; only road-legal lights carry a real class.
Holder of the approval
Who actually holds the certificate — manufacturer, importer, or none. If the holder is "unknown", the paperwork can't protect you.

Whether we have personally read the certificate on the issuing authority's public register before listing the product.
